Alejandra’s – 4 Stars

img_4773Saturday afternoon and we are starving!

Stan…you free for lunch?

Stan- Affirmative

Alejandra’s in 20?

Stan- 10/4

Located in a prime location on Main St. you will find one of our favorite Mexican restaurants by the name of Alejandra’s. As we pull up and the patio is full of customers. Looks like everyone is sipping margarita’s and having a great time. We walk in and are greeted right away by the friendly staff and immediately seated inside. Some of the crew comes here more often than others so the staff knows exactly what they are going to order. Stan takes his time looking over the menu trying to decide on what to order, so many items to choose from.

We order the fajitas, which come out sizzling and smell delicious. We shared so we had to order an extra order of tortillas, they only come with 3. We also try the enchilada ranchera, tostada compuesta, and the burrito bowl. Stan has the chili verde burrito and a taco…he licked his plate clean so he must have liked it.

Since it is Saturday we had to have an adult beverage or two to go with our lunch. We order a couple of margaritas and Stan orders his usual beer in a bottle. The cadillac margarita was amazing by the way. Our server brings it to the table along with a shaker and pours it at the table. It comes with a side shot of Grand Marnier….mmmm.

Finally, Alejandra’s gets 4 stars for ambience solely based on their location and thier out door seating. It is the perfect spot to people watch while enjoying dinner and a few cocktails. The two downsides are living in the Central Valley with it’s brutal summers and Visalia’s urban-backpacking community.

The LR4U crew will definitely be back. The customer service was great, the food was yummy, and the margarita was delicious!

Let’s go to the score card-
